The New City Catechism

Historically, the church has practiced catechesis by teaching The Ten Commandments, The Lord's Prayer, The Apostles Creed, and the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. We walk in this tradition through the use of the New City Catechism. This catechism is easily accessible as it is available in print as well as digitally via website and phone app. Commentary, prayers, and music related to each question are easily accessible to parents who wish to catechize their children at home. Our Lowerschoolers will recite the children's version and the Upperschoolers will begin learning the adult version. One point of note for parents is that though the catechism app and website use the ESV, we will be memorizing the supporting Scripture in the NASB as it is what the school uses for its bible classes and Scripture memorization.
